MiHoyo launched the action adventure roleplaying game named Genshin Impact in 2020. The game quickly rose to a ton of prominence in a very short time, managing to rank up among the best-selling action adventure RPG games ever made. There’s a huge amount of genshin impact characters that you can collect, level up and master in Genshin Impact, however, that’s a topic for another day, today, we will be focusing solely on Amber, and her prolific explosive puppet named Baron Bunny.
In Genshin Impact, Amber is a playable bow-wielding, usually ranged Pyro Character, meaning she’s a master of the fire element and explosive arts. She is always prepared to assist the people of Mondstadt as the sole surviving Outrider of the Knights of Favonius, whether it be with a straightforward matter or possibly a more difficult one. We will cover every aspect of Genshin Impact Amber’s talent, constellation, passive abilities, best weapons, best artefacts, and materials needed for ascension in this guide. Not to mention, Baron Bunny will be discussed in huge detail!
Amber’s Skills, Passsive Abilities and Constellations!
Amber possesses a unique set of skills, which are all phenomenal for the early game. Her active skills are much more deadly when used with precision and proper timing, meanwhile her passive skills enhance the overall gameplay experience significantly. Here’s a list of Amber’s skills.
AMBER’S ACTIVE SKILLS
Sharpshooter (Press) – Normal Attack:
Use a bow to fire up to five mes in a row.
Sharpshooter (Hold) – Charged Attack:
Perform an Aimed Shot with enhanced damage that is more precise. Flames will begin to accumulate around the arrowhead as you charge the shot by aiming. The damage dealt by a fully charged blazing arrow is going to be purely Pyro damage and will also cause the burn status effect.
Sharpshooter (Plunging) – Plunging Attack
Fires a barrage of arrows while in the air before descending and impacting the ground, delivering a significant amount of AoE damage.
Explosive Puppet (Press):
Baron Bunny, the ever-dependable rabbit-like stuffed doll, which is also just a miniature version of Amber in bunny form will enter the battlefield. Baron Bunny will continually mock the opposition and distracting them towards it. The maximum HP of Amber is what Baron Bunny’s maximum HP will scale with, which means is Amber has more HP, then so does Baron Bunny. Baron Bunny explodes when destroyed or when the timer for staying active expires, this explosion will not only deal explosive damage, but it will also deal AoE Pyro damage.
Explosive Puppet (Hold):
You can either hurl Baron Bunny farther or merely change the direction in which he’s launched. Amber may fling the explosive Baron Bunny farther the longer the button is held down.
Amber’s Elemental Burst attack is known as Fiery Rain. This attack unleashes a hail of arrows that deal constant AoE Pyro damage. There are 18 waves of hits in Fiery Rain. A 1 second/3 hit internal cooldown is followed by fiery rain damage.
AMBER’S PASSIVE SKILLS
Every Arrow Finds Its Target (Ascension One):
Expands all AoE DAMAGE done by Amber by a whopping 30%. It also boosts Fiery Rain’s critical hit rate by 10%.
Precise Shot (Ascension Four):
Aimed shots that hit directly at enemy weak points will increase Attack Power for ten seconds by 15%.
Gliding Champion (Automatically Unlocked):
Overall Gliding stamina consumption is decreased by 20% for any and all party members. This passive talent does not get stacked with other passive talents that have the same or similar affect.
It isn’t too difficult to unlock Amber’s constellations since you will most likely be receiving her at least a several number of times when making wishes. You can get a list of all the bonuses below:

BEST BUILDS FOR AMBER:
Now that we’ve made sure you’re completely aware of everything regarding Amber, I think it’s time for us to dive deep into what the best build for Amber should be. In fact, we’re going to provide you options so you can pick and choose!
ELEMENTAL DPS BUILD:
Multiple amounts of Pyro can be dealt by Amber’s Elemental Burst to opponents in an AoE. The Elemental Burst’s damage and uptime are increased in this build. This build is for those that don’t want Amber to be the main DPS, but they still want to rely on her for a ton of significant AoE damage and crowd control!
The Stringless should be the go-to bow for any good Amber builds. This weapon ups both elemental burst damage and elemental skill by a whopping 24%.
However, there’s more variety here too, if you’re somehow able to get your hands on it, Amos’ Bow will offer a respectable damage boost. It’s much rarer and harder to find overall, but well worth it.
The Crimson Witch of Flames two-piece set is excellent for increasing Amber’s pyro damage. However, if you want to significantly improve the elemental burst damage of Amber’s artefact, we strongly advise pairing it with the Noblesse Oblige 2-piece set and the Stringless Bow. This will turn your Amber into a literal terminator, being able to genuinely destroy foes with very quick succession.
CHARGED DPS BUILD:
By investing in boosting the strength of her Charged Attack or Aimed Shot, Amber can also function as a Main DPS. This will give you a significantly large damage potential, because she will be dealing a ton of damage to single targets so you’re going to be relying on her mainly when it comes to bosses. This would also make it much more fun to play her, as the gameplay would be tight, precise and challenging.
Amos’ Bow is extremely helpful in this situation because it can raise the damage dealt from all of Amber’s Normal Attacks and Aimed Shots by a massive 18%. Aside from this, there’s also an increase of 12% in overall damage for every 0.1s while an arrow is in flight. This damage also stacks on each arrow up to a total of five times.
Of course, the best Artifact by far when it comes to Amber’s high class single target DPS build has to be the Crimson Witch of Flames 2 piece set or the Gladiator’s Finale 2 piece set. It’s honestly a very simple choice between the two, either works tremendously well. The two-piece Gladiator’s Finale set raises users’ Attack by 18%. All attack damage, including that from normal attacks, elemental skills, and elemental bursts, will increase as a result of this. Meanwhile, The two-piece set bonus for the Crimson Witch of Flames raises Pyro Damage by 15%. Due to the fact that it is a percentage, the amount increase is based on the user’s existing Pyro Damage. Whichever one you choose will work perfectly well!
Alright, so that was all the information you needed to know about Amber and her phenomenal Baron Bunny. Not only is Amber an easily obtainable character, but she’s very easy to collect Constellations for, and quite simple to ascend if you have got the time. Amber will be one of the best, if not the best Single Target DPS in the game if you’re a starter, and her Baron Bunny will be there to support you every step of the way!
